Responsible consumption is a concept that advocates changing society’s consumption habits by adjusting them to real needs and the needs of the planet, choosing options that favor the environment and social equality. This change is necessary since we currently live in a consumerist society that has a direct impact on the health of our planet, for all this a change towards responsible consumption is necessary.

WHAT CAN WE DO TO CONSUME RESPONSIBLY?

– Do not buy products or services from companies that pollute excessively during their manufacture or have harmful impacts on the environment

-Don’t waste water, turn off the tap, take a shower and don’t bathe…

-Reuse clothes, give them a longer useful life

-Buy in bulk, thus avoiding buying products that generate unnecessary waste

-Use low consumption light bulbs, turn off the lights

-Avoid the consumption of fossil fuels

-Plan your purchases

-Choose local and seasonal foods

-Avoid food waste

-If you have the opportunity, buy organic food

-Choose companies that work responsibly

– Supports fair trade and neighborhood trade

-Compare and reflect before buying a product

– Know sustainable products and their characteristics
