The programme of the conference includes, from 16:45 hours, the conferences of the president of the Association of Specialists in Nursing of Galicia (AETGa), Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez Pereira; of the member of the Laboratory of Research and Development in Artificial Intelligence (LIDIA) and the Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) of the University of A Coru\u00f1a, \u00d3scar Fontela Romero; and of the nurse of the Work in Quir\u00f3n Prevenci\u00f3n, Isabel Mart\u00ednez Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/p>\n
At 18:35 hours will start a round table on occupational illness and prevention of occupational hazards, with the participation of the second vice-president of the Official College of Nurses of Coru\u00f1a, Francisco Bernab\u00e9u Pi\u00f1eiro; the nurse of the Galician Health Service (SERGAS), Javier Mato Gonz\u00e1lez; Pablo Fern\u00e1ndez Bouzamayor, Commander of the Civil Guard Command in A Coru\u00f1a; Manuel Freire L\u00f3pez, Head of Occupational Health and Safety at Navantia R\u00eda de Ferrol; Eva Friebel Paradela, Navantia R\u00eda de Ferrol’s Labour Nurse; and Sandra Fern\u00e1ndez Mart\u00ednez, Director of the Quir\u00f3n Prevenci\u00f3n office in Ferrol.<\/p>\n
The exhibition of 15 posters made by the students of the Nursing Degree of the University School of Nursing of Coru\u00f1a and the Faculty of Nursing and Podiatry of the Industrial Campus of Ferrol, as well as by the staff of Navantia R\u00eda Ferrol, will be on display throughout the afternoon in the hall annexed to the Concepci\u00f3n Arenal Assembly Hall of the Industrial Campus of Ferrol. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the programme of the day includes a visit, on Friday 26th April, from 11:00 to 14:00 hours, to the Prevention Service and the Medical Service of Navantia R\u00eda de Ferrol.<\/p>\n
The 1st Labour Nursing Conference \u2018Health at work: safety and well-being\u2019 is organised by the Official College of Nursing of A Coru\u00f1a, together with the Faculty of Nursing and Podiatry of the University of A Coru\u00f1a and Navantia, in collaboration with the Association of Labour Nursing Specialists (AET), the Association of Galician Labour Nursing Specialists (AETGa) and Quir\u00f3n Prevenci\u00f3n. Its aim is to raise awareness of the role of nurses in their speciality of work-related nursing, as well as the other professionals who collaborate directly with these specialists, forming a multidisciplinary team within the prevention services in the workplace.<\/p>\n
