The director of the Polytechnic School of Enxe\u00f1ar\u00eda de Ferrol (EPEF), Vicente D\u00edaz Cas\u00e1s, and the coordinator of the Master in Industrial Computing and Robotics, H\u00e9ctor Quinti\u00e1n Pardo, will be in charge of inaugurating this First Day of Internships in Company in which will participate the founder of the automation and robotics studio BAUP, Filipe Teixeira; the head of Tec Project of Soft Automation, Juan Jos\u00e9 Medina Albero; the head of Projects at Serprentrio Technologies, Marcos Taboada D\u00edaz; the head of University Relations and member of the Human Resources Department at Navantia, Mar\u00eda Teresa Galdo Aldrey; as well as the head of UAS Development and the Systems Engineer at the unmanned aircraft company Avincis, David P\u00e9rez-Pi\u00f1ar L\u00f3pez and Yago G\u00f3mez Castro, respectively.<\/p>\n

Also coming to the Ferrol Industrial Campus will be the commercial director of the Galician company of electrical material supply, automation and industrial control DIEXFE, \u00d3scar V\u00e1zquez Casas; the director of R+D+i of EMALCSA, Ricardo V\u00e1zquez P\u00e9rez; the director of AI and Data Analytics of the multinational NTT Data, \u00c1ngel Fraga Varela; the director of Projects and the specialist designer of the energy transition and sustainability engineering company Technip Energies, Mar\u00eda de los \u00c1ngeles Musacchia and Jos\u00e9 Gato, respectively; the administrator of Narontec, Montserrat Tuimil Parapar; as well as the director of Electrical Engineering, the director of Industrial Information Technologies and the director of the Human Resources Department of the global engineering company specialised in the steel sector Russula, Noelia P\u00e9rez, Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Gonz\u00e1lez and Bego\u00f1a Llaca Abos, respectively.<\/p>\n

Throughout the day, the representatives of the 11 participating companies will share with the students of the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF) information on the projects they have underway and which they can join by doing their curricular internships, necessary to obtain a degree or master’s degree, or extracurricular internships in these companies. In order to favour this incorporation, personal interviews will be held throughout the morning in the office annexed to the conference room of the Battalion Building of the Industrial Campus of Ferrol.<\/p>\n

Interuniversity degree promoted by the University of A Coru\u00f1a and by the University of La Laguna.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The master’s degree in Industrial Computing and Robotics (60 ECTS credits) will be taught at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF) of the University of A Coru\u00f1a and the School of Engineering and Technology of the University of La Laguna from the 2020\/21 academic year. For seniors, it offers the possibility of obtaining a double international degree with the Polytechnic Institute of Bragan\u00e7a, in Portugal.<\/p>\n

Once they have completed their training, students will have solid training in technologies related to Industry 4.0, such as robotics, industrial automation, Big Data Analytics, additive manufacturing, programming of industrial devices, cloud computing, the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques in industry, the Internet of Things (industrial IoT) and augmented reality.<\/p>\n
