Ferrol, 2nd of April 2024. The auditorium Concepci\u00f3n Arenal of the Industrial Campus of Ferrol hosts, this Thursday, April 4, at 19: 00 hours, the commemorative act of the creation of the studies of Industrial Engineering organised by the Ilustre Colexio Oficial de Enxe\u00f1eiros Industriais de Galicia (ICOIIG) and in which he will receive the Honourable Mention for his contribution in the field of Industrial Engineering to the Industrial Campus of the University of A Coru\u00f1a and to his former director, the current vice-rector of the Ferrol Campus and Social Responsibility and also professor at the University School of Industrial Design (EUDI), Ana Ares Pernas.<\/p>\n

The delegate in Ferrol of the Ilustre Colexio Oficial de Enxe\u00f1eiros Industriais de Galicia (ICOIIG) and professor at the University of A Coru\u00f1a, Javier Bouza Fern\u00e1ndez, will be in charge of leading a commemorative ceremony that will continue with the presentation of the End of Master’s Degree Award of the Polytechnic School of Enxe\u00f1ar\u00eda de Ferrol (EPEF) 2022\/23 in the category of ” Applied Research Introductory Project “.<\/em> to the former student of the Master in Industrial Engineering, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Rama Docampo, who will briefly present his work entitled “Artificial vision system for the classification of objects using AI for autonomous submarines” in which he focused on a very specific problem of underwater robotics: improving the perception and analysis capacity of an autonomous underwater vehicle.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo D\u00edaz Ibarra, General Manager of Reganosa and graduate in Industrial Engineering specialising in Energy Engineering from the University of A Coru\u00f1a, will then give a talk on the subject. ” Importance of the industrial designer or industrial engineer in innovation and infrastructures of Reganosa”.<\/em> At the end, there will be a round table in which former students of the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF) will talk about the profession of industrial engineer, both in the industrial sector and in the free profession. Almudena Sep\u00falveda Mar\u00f3n, Head of Quality, Environment and Health and Safety of the steel group Megasa; Crist\u00f3bal Pi\u00f1\u00f3n Fern\u00e1ndez, Director of Business Development at Intacta Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental; Ra\u00fal Rico Beceiro, Director of Production at the Navantia Ferrol Shipyard; Juan Leira Gonz\u00e1lez, Administrator of the company Aringal; and Mar\u00eda Fandi\u00f1o S\u00e1nchez, recently graduated in Industrial Technology Engineering, who works as a freelance professional doing research in the field of Industrial Technologies; the administrator of the company Aringal, Juan Leira Gonz\u00e1lez; and the recently graduated in Enxe\u00f1ar\u00eda in Industrial Technologies, Mar\u00eda Fandi\u00f1o S\u00e1nchez, who works as an independent professional carrying out works of design and photovoltaic installation, technical reports and energy certificates.<\/p>\n

The rector of the University of A Coru\u00f1a, Ricardo Cao Abad, will close the commemorative act of the creation of the Industrial Engineering studies accompanied by the dean of the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Galicia (ICOIIG), Julio Garc\u00eda Cordoni\u00e9; by the director of the Industrial Campus of the University of A Coru\u00f1a, Marcos M\u00edguez Gonz\u00e1lez; and also by the director of the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF), Vicente D\u00edaz Cas\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
