Tomorrow the Industrial Campus of Ferrol will host a conference on deafblindness organised by the Association of Deaf People of Ferrolterra.

Ferrol, April 29th, 2024. The vice-rector of the Ferrol Campus and Social Responsibility, Ana Ares Pernas, and the general director of Youth, Participation and Volunteering, Cristina Pichel Toimil, will inaugurate tomorrow, Tuesday 30 April, at 10: 15 hours, in the Assembly Hall Concepción Arenal of the Industrial Campus of Ferrol, a conference on deaf people organised by the Association of Deaf People of Ferrolterra (AXF Ferrolterra) in collaboration with the City Council of Ferrol, the University of A Coruña, through the UDC Saudable Programme, the Department of Culture, Language and Youth of the Xunta de Galicia and the Integrated Centre for Vocational Training Ánxel Casal – Monte Alto of A Coruña.

The presentation of the conference on deafblindness will be given by Yolanda Pérez Modelos, teacher of the CIFP Ánxel Casal – Monte Alto. During the event, the students of the Higher Cycle in Communicative Mediation of this training centre of Coruña will intervene. At 12:45 a.m., the closing ceremony of the conference promoted by AXF Ferrolterra will be held by the councillor for Social Policy and Inclusion, Rosa Martínez Beceiro.
