Ferrol, April 30th 2024. The Industrial Campus of Ferrol hosts, during the last week of the month of autumn, the Volemos! Summer Technology Camp, a recreational-training proposal aimed at children between six and 16 years old organised, for the second consecutive year, by the Industrial Campus of the University of A Coruña. With the help and under the supervision of the teaching staff and students of the University School of Industrial Design (EUDI) and the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF), the students will learn from the basic concepts to the most advanced theories in fields such as 3D printing, 3D modelling and programming.
The workshops will take place between the 24th and 28th of June from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours. There is the possibility of participating in the ‘Early Bird’ mode, from 08:00 to 15:00 hours, which includes a canteen service for the elderly. The general rate is 119 euros per full week. The price for members of the university community is 99 euros. Those people who sign up for the early bird service will have to pay 15 euros for the weekly lunch and/or 35 euros for the weekly dinner, if they wish. A discount of 50% is also offered for the second child enrolled belonging to the same family unit. The deadline for registration begins tomorrow, Wednesday 1st of May. A total of 60 places are offered.
