Ferrol, 6th of March 2024.- The vice-rector of Research and Transfer, Jerónimo Puertas Agudo, will inaugurate tomorrow, Thursday 7th of March, at 09:40 hours, in the auditorium Concepción Arenal of the Industrial Campus of Ferrol, the conferences about The Role of Experts: Scientific Advisors and Public Management organised by the Philosophy of Science and Technology Research Centre (CIFCYT) of the University of A Coruña in collaboration with the Society of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science in Spain. He will be accompanied by the coordinator of the conference, the professor of the Faculty of Humanities and Documentation, Wenceslao J. González.
On Thursday 7th and Friday 8th of March, the following people will visit the Ferrol Industrial Campus: Martin Carrier, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Bielefeld (Germany) and Professor of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method of the London School of Economics (United Kingdom), Richard Bradley; a Professor of Medical Ethics, in Weill Cornell Medicine of New York (United States), Inmaculada de Melo Martín; Javier Ordóñez, Professor Emeritus of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain); and Anna Estany, Professor Emeritus of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain).
