Publication of the call for the hiring of a researcher in training at the Industrial Campus of Ferrol.

Reference of the aid: Agreement Xunta de Galicia-Universidade da Coruña.

Title: Talent in training. Collaboration agreement between the Consellería Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Universidade and the Universidade da Coruña (UDC) for the development of strategic actions in the Ferrol Industrial Campus 2024-2028

Functions:
    1. To develop a thesis project aligned with one of the strategic lines of the CIF and endorsed by
      a researcher attached to it.
    2. Designing the experimentation and data collection processes
    3. Fieldwork and analysis of the data obtained in this work.
    4. Prepare interim and final reports including justifications for research contributions to the CIF’s
      strategic lines, as well the activity annual report for the CIF justifications.
    5. Disseminate results in national and international contexts in line with the CIF indicators.
    6. Publish the results in the corresponding scientific field in line with the scientific dissemination
      interests of the CIF. In the event that the results of the research entail transfer to the company
      or the creation of patents, there must be a clear coincidence with the strategic lines of the CIF.
    7. Preparation of the final thesis report for its subsequent reading and defence, leading to the
      award of the PhD degree.
Features:
    • Schedule:  monday to friday from 8:00 h to 15:00 h.
    • Gross monthly remuneration : 1.783,33 € (Including extra pays ).
    • Period of the grant: 4 years max (if the Xunta’s agreement is in force).
    • A three-month stay abroad will be financed.
Requirements:
    1. Have the nationality of a member state of the European Union.
    2. Be pursuing full-time doctoral studies in one of the Programmes of Doctorate from the University of A Coruña.
    3. That they will develop their thesis project on any of the areas described in the paragraph 1 of the call.
    4. That the completion date of the degree giving access to the doctoral program be equal to or after January 1, 2019.
    5. Count in the academic record of the degree or bachelor’s degree with an equal average grade or more than 7, or 6 in the degrees of the branch of Engineering and Architecture.
    6. Candidates will not be accepted as recipients of this assistance in possession of the title of Doctor.
