Call for Small Equipment – Ferrol Industrial Campus
Call for grants for the acquisition of small scientific equipment for permanent and non‑permanent research staff assigned to the Ferrol Industrial Campus. This action aims to identify the needs for small scientific equipment that cannot be financed through other grants or calls, analyze and assess them based on the criteria established in this document and by the Commission, and subsequently promote the corresponding acquisition or procurement process as appropriate.
Application submission period:
10 working days (until April 21 inclusive)
Funding
Total allocation: €242,000 (VAT included).
Maximum amount per application: €60,500 (€50,000 + VAT).
What is funded?
These grants cover the cost of:
- Acquisition of equipment,
- Transport,
- Commissioning, and
- Training expenses,
- Operating software for the equipment is also included.
Eligible applicants and requirements
- Permanent or non‑permanent research staff assigned to the CIF, with assignment completed at least 10 calendar days before the deadline.
- Active ORCID account is mandatory.
- Each person may submit only one application, either individually or in coordination.
- The equipment must be installed and used exclusively in the CIF facilities.
- Delivery of the equipment must take place before 01/10/2026.
What do I need for the application?
- Annex I with an explanatory report (max. 4 pages).
- Updated detailed CV of all team members.
- Recent quote (less than one month old) issued to UDC, including technical specifications, warranties (minimum 3 years), and tax breakdown.
- Space availability report signed by the head of the center.

Important dates
- April 21: application submission deadline
- Equipment must be received before October 1, 2026
- Financial justification completed before October 31, 2026
Resolution and acceptance
- The resolution will be published on the CIF website and communicated by email.
- Acceptance or withdrawal (Annex II) must be submitted within 10 working days from publication.
- Administrative documentation will be required for the acquisition process.
