Sustainable mobility

WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY?

Sustainable mobility is a healthy transport model based on low carbon consumption and prioritises improving the quality of urban life and social wellbeing. This model is characterised by trying to generate as little polluting gases as possible and to find ways and other means of transport such as scooters, bicycles… that are more environmentally friendly than the conventional car.

WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP?

There are ways in which we can help and participate in sustainable mobility from our homes. Some of them would be to try to do all short or medium distances on foot or by a respectful means of transport such as a bicycle or skateboard or any other means of transport that does not release polluting gases into the atmosphere. Shopping at a nearby shop or going to the cinema on foot can also help. We can also opt for car sharing or shared transport services if we need to travel by car.

Another important point would be if we have to hang up the car to check certain aspects to try to generate as few gases as possible, such as:

  • Check your tyre pressure.
  • Anticipates braking and drives smoothly.
  • Look for people who need to do the same route as you and share the journey.
